At Careers by Bruce, every résumé review, LinkedIn profile, interview coaching session, and career consultation is personalized to your unique experience and goals. Because each service requires dedicated time and individual attention, this Refund Policy explains when refunds may be available and how we handle refund requests.
Our Commitment
My goal is to provide honest, practical career guidance that helps you tell your story with confidence. If you have questions or concerns about your service, I encourage you to reach out as early as possible. I’m committed to working with you to find a fair solution.
Before Work Begins
If you need to cancel your purchase before work has started, please contact me within 24 hours of purchase.
If no work has begun, you may be eligible for a full refund.
Work is considered to have begun once I have started reviewing your materials, researching your target role, preparing your project, or scheduling and conducting a consultation.
After Work Has Begun
Because every service is customized specifically for you, refunds are generally not available once work has begun.
Examples of work that has started include:
- Reviewing your résumé or career documents
- Editing or rewriting your résumé
- Optimizing your LinkedIn profile
- Preparing interview coaching materials
- Conducting a Zoom consultation
- Creating personalized recommendations or career guidance
Revisions
Your satisfaction is important.
Most service packages include revisions as outlined in the package description.
If something doesn’t meet your expectations, please let me know. I’ll make reasonable revisions within the scope of your purchased service to ensure you’re confident in the final result.
No Employment Guarantee
While Careers by Bruce is committed to helping you improve your résumé, LinkedIn profile, interview performance, and overall job search strategy, employment outcomes cannot be guaranteed.
I cannot guarantee:
- Job interviews
- Job offers
- Promotions
- Salary increases
- Employment with any specific company
Hiring decisions are made solely by employers and depend on many factors outside my control.
How to Request a Refund
If you believe you are eligible for a refund, please email:
Include the following information:
- Your full name
- Email address used for purchase
- Service purchased
- Date of purchase
- Reason for your request
Every request is reviewed individually and fairly.
Refund Processing
If a refund is approved, it will be issued to the original payment method whenever possible.
Please allow:
- Up to 5 business days for review.
- An additional 5–10 business days for your bank or payment provider to process the refund.
Processing times may vary depending on your financial institution.
